RatingMinder/Contact

A person answers every email. Most things, you can do yourself before you write.

Write to support@ratingminder.com. We answer within one business day. Nothing is behind a call. Look at the list below first, because you can probably do what you need yourself.

Illustration: a street with a small shop under a green awning. The owner stands in the doorway in the shop's green apron, holding up a plain sealed envelope. Four people stand on the pavement, each with a one-star review above a phone. The man in a rust coat has a red card labeled Not filed yet: an appeal bought, with nothing filed with Google yet. The woman in a slate cardigan has a red card labeled Under appeal, waiting on Google. The younger man in a beige jacket has a red card labeled Google said no. At the far right, apart from them, an older woman with a shopping bag has a plain gray card labeled Customer: she wrote one of the reviews.

The owner with a letter for us, and three of her reviews: one not filed yet, one under appeal, one Google said no to. She can take care of each one on her appeal page. The woman at the right wrote a review too, and she can write to us.

Before you write

Where's my appeal?

It's on your appeal page. Every email we've sent you about the appeal has the link. We don't attach files, so look for the link.

Can I get a refund before I file?

Yes. Until you file the report with Google, you can refund it yourself from the appeal page, and it's instant. The one exception is a purchase where a review already came down.

Google denied my appeal. Now what?

Open the appeal page with Google's email in hand and tap "Google denied the appeal." If the guarantee applies, the refund starts from there. There's nothing to forward to us. Here's when your fee gets refunded.

How do I cancel Monitoring?

From your Monitoring dashboard. It ends that day, with no further charges. If a charge lands while the cancel is still processing, it's refunded automatically. Your billing details are in Stripe's billing portal, through the Manage billing button on the same dashboard.

Writing to us

What should the email include?

The business name as it shows on Google, and the email you used at checkout if you bought anything. Press and research questions go to the same address, and Doug Baker, the founder, answers those himself.

I wrote one of the reviews. What does that mean?

It means the business's owner ran its reviews through our analysis against Google's policies, and yours was one of them. We submit nothing to Google. If the owner reports a review, they file it themselves, and Google decides.

Write to the same address with the business name and a link to your review. We'll tell you what we hold about it and delete our copy if you ask. The exception is a copy attached to an open appeal, which we keep until that appeal closes. We never discuss the owner's appeal.
